The Department of Human Evolutionary Biology seeks applications for a full-time postdoctoral position. The position is initially for one year but with reappointment for two additional years contingent upon satisfactory performance and review. The start-date is flexible and could be as early as December 1, 2021. Responsibilities involve helping design, oversee and analyze the Harvard Exercise Study, an experiment to use a social commitment contract model to increase physical activity in the Harvard community, with a focus on undergraduates. Research will include working on experiment design, programming, collecting and analyzing behavioral and physiological data, and writing up the results for publication. Research will be coordinated through Harvard University Health Services but will include collaborations with faculty in numerous departments at Harvard including Human Evolutionary Biology and Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology.
