Class Description

Instruct college credit and non-credit courses on a part-time basis. Day, evening and weekend sections will be available. Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction to support Common Course Outlines. Develop and administer a class room management plan and evaluation methods including tests, quizzes, and hands-on projects. Follow college schedule for reports, grade evaluation methods and final course performance.

Pay level 1 $880/credit hour.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years work experience with fabrication equipment and one year of teaching experience in a formal instructional setting. Applicant should have experience using fabrication software used in 3D modeling; SolidWorks, Auto Cad, Rhino 3D, and Fusion 360. Experience in any or all of the following fabrication equipment is essential; Laser Cutter, 3D printers, ShopBot and Vinyl cutter. Courses or certificates taken using fabrication equipment and a conceptual and practical knowledge of tool-pathing and applying speeds is a plus. Proficient oral and written communication skills required.

Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save for retirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees may contribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b) post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combined for the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.
  • Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorization form is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms.
