Job Summary

The Automotive Technology program is seeking an experienced technician to teach entry level courses in electrical, engine performance, chassis systems, engine repair, and other subjects. This is a part-time teaching position.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree and five years full-time experience as an automobile technician OR Bachelor's degree and three years full-time experience as an automobile technician
Current ASE certification in G1, A1-A8 or OEM equivalent - maintaining ASE credentials are required for job retention
ASE L1 required to teach Engine Performance courses
Demonstrate a strong ability and competence in the assigned subject matter
This position demands a positive team player that comes to class organized and prepared

Preferred Qualifications

Course development and design
Previous teaching of Automotive Technology at the high school or college levels, OEM training centers; part-time or full-time
