The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Allied Health Professions (CAHP) is seeking applications for a permanent, full time (12 month), tenure-leading appointment as  Assistant Dean for Research. The role will be responsible for developing a research agenda in the area of chronic disease prevention and management and mentoring junior scientists to achieve robust external funding.  The Assistant Dean for Research serves as a member of the executive leadership team of the CAHP and assists the Associate Dean in the administrative management and strategic planning for the college’s research enterprise.  The Assistant Dean has responsibility to promote and sustain a culture of scholarship, research productivity and research funding within the CAHP.
