Position Summary:
The Aviation Flight Line Dispatcher assists in overseeing Private, Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, CFI/CFII, MEI certificates and rating in the collegiate FAA Part 61/141 flight training program. The Aviation Flight Line Dispatcher assists the Flight Operations Manager in leading, supervising and managing the flight training program at the university. The incumbent must possess and maintain a strong working knowledge of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's) for Part 141, and will assist with all FAA related paperwork and documentation.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience:

• Two years of directly related aviation experience.
• Prior experience in flight school operations

• FAA dispatcher license
• Certified Flight Instructor CFI, CFII and MEI

Job Functions:
Assists as directed with all EKU Aviation flight training activities.
Monitors compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) in the training of students and the supervision of flight instructors.
Collects feedback to be used in review and update the flight training program and training materials
Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned.
