Research Technician
Location: Moscow

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour or higher depending on experience

Position Summary:
The research technician position will analyze protein activity and protein interactions in yeast cells. Duties include overall lab maintenance (maintaining lab media and supplies) and conducting experiments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Degree or GED
- Collecting and recording data following pre-established procedures or protocols
- Using a computer to organize data for analysis
- Working in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in field of biological sciences
- One year of research experience
- Experience with research lab operations and organization
- Experience working with bacterial or yeast cultures
- Ability to execute and complete tasks on time
- Experience with molecular biology procedures including; PCR, qRT-PCR, bacterial transformation and culture, plasmid purification, cloning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with protein purification or protein mutagenesis
- Experience with protein techniques, such as SDS-PAGE gels, immunoblots, immunoprecitation
- Experience working on independent research project(s)
