Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The School of Nursing at the University of Alaska Anchorage seeks innovative, energetic professionals to contribute to our Psychiatric Mental Health-NP and DNP programs. We are seeking to fill two full-time positions as the program continues to grow to meet behavioral heath care needs in the State of Alaska Qualified applicants will be doctorally prepared (PhD or DNP) and certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health nurse practitioner.

This faculty position will fulfill graduate teaching responsibilities, as well as clinical supervision in psychiatric mental health settings. Faculty responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction in classrooms and via distance education modalities. Additional faculty responsibilities include: planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum, participation in university and community service activities, and engagement in professional activities.
