Class Description

The purpose of this class is to perform an advanced level of administrative duties for the coordination of Continuing Education’s IT Career Programs, with a focus on IT certifications and cybersecurity, database management, computer programming, and web development.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Three (3) years of experience coordinating projects/programs and related administrative duties required. Experience coordinating training programs in a higher education setting preferred. Work experience in IT-related field preferred.

Class Specific Essential Duties

  1. Plan, schedule, and coordinate IT Career programs for the College.
  2. Seek out and develop relationships with employers to understand local workforce needs to develop programming and place students
  3. Manage assigned IT Career contracts with existing and potential training customers
  4. Research market trends to recommend and develop new courses and course series (including meeting accreditation and/or certification standards).
  5. Recruit, select, train and supervise adjunct faculty and instructors.
  6. Manage program expenses efficiently and economically
  7. Identify access and analyze program data in the college’s enterprise system
  8. Provide superior customer service and solutions to problems for customers, students and adjunct faculty.
  9. Develop and maintain partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.
  10. Represent and promote the college at affinity groups, professional and business associations and community and networking events

Supplemental (Retirement Annuities) 403(b) and 457(b)

    The 403(b) supplemental retirement plan is available to all CCBC employees (Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees).
  • Roth 403(b) is a savings feature that is available when you open a 403(b) account. The Roth 403(b) savings feature allows employees to contribute after-tax dollars and then withdraw tax-free dollars from their account upon retirement. The Roth 403(b) savings feature is only offered by the following vendors: TIAA-CREF and VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save for retirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees may contribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b) post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combined for the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.
  • Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorization form is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms.
Parking
