Position Information
Responsibilities: This 10-month tenure-track position begins August 16, 2022 and carries responsibilities in undergraduate teaching and advising. The ideal candidate will be able to teach at least three of the following courses: Management Principles in Health Services; Healthcare Delivery System; Public Health Policy and Systems; Management of Healthcare Organizations; Health Care Policy and Politics; Financial Management of Healthcare Organizations; Health Services Administration Capstone; Health Equity or Community Health. The Assistant/Associate Professor position also requires scholarship (dissemination, grants, etc.), and service to the department, college, university, and community. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department. Minimum Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications
The minimum education requirement for appointment to this position is a terminal degree in health services administration, organizational/industrial psychology and/or health policy. Any of the following degrees with an emphasis in health services administration: PhD, Doctorate in Health Administration ( DHA ), Doctorate in Public Administration ( DPA ), Doctorate in Business Administration ( DBA ), a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPh) or a Juris Doctor (JD). Candidates nearing completion of the terminal degree may be considered; however, all requirements for conferral of the degree must be met no later than August 17, 2022. The successful candidate should provide evidence of their commitment to or experience promoting and fostering a learning environment that is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Candidates must demonstrate potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching with experience and interest in interactive instructional technologies, and have potential for research and grant writing.
