Position Summary
The Department of Management in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position at the lecturer level, beginning August 2022. The successful candidate will be proactively involved in departmental service and undergraduate or Master student mentoring. Research is not a consideration. The position is subject to annual renewal based on performance and promotion to Senior Lecturer is possible after six years of service.

Candidates with a Ph.D. in Management or related areas are preferred. At a minimum, a master’s degree is required.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification
A minimum of 5 or more years of relevant private- or public-sector work experience in management or related areas is required.
Candidates with a master’s degree must document exceptional accomplishments in management or a related area and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Candidates should have demonstrated an ability to provide high-quality instruction at the undergraduate and MBA levels within the general management area with broad teaching interests in principles of management, human resources management, leadership, ethics, or strategy, and as well as other related topics, as needed.
