Eastern Connecticut State University invites applications for: SOCIAL MEDIA/DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME (35 HRS/WK). This is an on ground, in person position. 

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Director of University Relations, the Social Media/Digital Marketing Coordinator manages Eastern’s official (Office of University Relations) accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms. The coordinator creates and posts content to official pages on a scheduled basis and works with the Director of University Relations and other colleagues to implement advertising strategies for Facebook/Instagram and other digital platforms. Keeps up-to-date with web technology. Provides technical assistance to departments and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: B.A./B.S. degree in communication, marketing, or related field required. Minimum three years of experience in developing and executing social media and/or digital marketing strategies required. Alternate experience considered. Related marketing experience and prior experience working in higher education preferred. Excellent communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work in fast-paced academic environment and manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently.

Term: This position starts as soon as possible. It falls under the SUOAF (State University Organization of Administrative Faculty) collective bargaining unit, and the renewal terms described in the SUOAF bargaining agreement with the State of Connecticut.
