The Department of Italian Studies at New York University invites
applications for a Visiting Professor of modern and contemporary
Italian literature for the academic year 2022-2023. This visiting
position is open to professors of any rank with demonstrated
teaching expertise and publishing record in the field of 20th and
21st century Italian literature. The successful candidate will be
appointed as a Visiting Assistant/Associate/or Full
Professor for one year with the possibility of
reappointment for up to three years, subject to performance and
departmental needs. He or she will teach two courses per
semester, normally one undergraduate course taught in English or
Italian and one graduate seminar.
