Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Department of Computing Sciences, beginning August 2022. The normal expectations for this position include teaching a 3-3 course load, professional service to include undergraduate student advising, and research.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be ABD in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer information technology, or a closely related, highly technical computing discipline. ABD applicants must have completed all coursework required for the Ph.D., have successfully defended a dissertation proposal, and expect to have the Ph.D. degree conferred by August 15, 2022.

The Department of Computing Sciences at Coastal Carolina University offers B.S. degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Information Technology, and an M.S. degree in Information Systems Technology.
