Position Summary:

The Associate Director, Marketing & Communications for the Institute for Inclusive Leadership (the “Institute”) will work as a strategic liaison between the Institute's outsourced marketing partners and the University marketing team to ensure a seamlessness in brand experience and timeliness in marketing milestones. The Associate Director, Marketing & Communications will also provide writing, design, content management and client support for a multichannel marketing strategy that includes print, online and social media solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Management
  • Produce high-quality marketing materials including infographics, emails, acknowledgments, confirmations, newsletters, and presentation materials;
  • Write, edit and copy proof marketing materials (i.e. email, social media images, Infogram, flyers, brochures, slides, postcards);
  • Manage social media communications and accounts;
  • Manage client experience communication;
  • Support website management and updates in coordination with vendor support;
  • Support event-specific coordination with vendors as needed (Freeman, videographer, graphic designers, etc.);
  • Design, build and manage Mobile App and other digital social networking and social learning channels in alignment with the conference or corporate program offerings.


Partner and Client Liaison
  • Co-create multichannel marketing campaigns to align with key leadership objectives;
  • Manage annual marketing calendar of project deliverables and timeline;
  • Coordinate with marketing partners to ensure seamless integration of systems and flow of information;
  • Manage client experience communication of Institute conferences, courses and events.


Data & Contact Management
  • Coordinate the evolution and integration of contact database into unified Institute CRM (MailChimp);
  • Implement internal operational processes to ensure consistent management of website updates and image + media libraries;
  • Regularly generate data/custom reports on Institute client information, conference registration trends, and custom program evaluations;
  • Support the cultivation of relationships with conference sponsors, custom clients, and vendor representatives to ensure Institute and client branding is appropriately utilized in program materials;
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred;
  • Minimum of five years of relative professional experience in a marketing and brand role, and/or marketing communications;
  • Prior experience working with external marketing agencies;
  • Layout and desktop publishing experience with a variety of platforms: print, online and social media;
  • Superior written and oral communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously.


This role is eligible for partial or almost full remote work, subject to business that require on site presence.
