Founded in 1988, Lone Star College-Tomball is the third oldest
college in the LSC system. LSC-Tomball offers a wide range of

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Coordinator III, Creative Services serves as the lead creator
of college graphics, marketing publications, and photography. The
Coordinator also supervises part-time staff who support in the
department's mission. The Coordinator plans, analyzes and creates
solutions for visual communication needs for Lone Star
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Conceptualizes, plans, designs and produces a variety of
publications directed toward student recruitment, employee
information and college policies, services and activities,
including graphic design, illustration and project
- Uses a variety of tools and mediums to achieve artistic or
decorative effects to create options for customer selection
- Maintains communications with vendors, requesting bids,
providing pre-press and press checks, and helping ensure
print-production timelines are met
- Responsible for meeting deadlines and using independent
judgment to prioritize assigned work
- Develops and implements integrated marketing strategy
- Serve as project coordinator for major marketing events and
- Evaluate and recommend the purchase of media equipment based on
immediate and anticipated needs incorporating newest
- Responsible for other reasonable related duties as
- Knowledge of professional printing processes, press
capabilities, pre-press production, printing techniques, paper
selection, coating, etc.
- Knowledge of aspects related to brand management, like
technical knowledge of logo design, legalities of copyright
- Knowledge of PC's (Microsoft Office) and MACs and related
graphic design software and tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator,

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to
do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;
carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or
driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to
perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a
Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to
carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal
exposure to safety hazards
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related work
experience, or an equivalent combination of education and
- At least 3 years of related work experience
Hiring salary range is $46,300-53,245
Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted
full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall
in that range is determined by your related experience and
education. Should you receive an offer of employment from Lone Star
