Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948, Stonehill is a private Catholic college located just 22 miles from downtown Boston on a beautiful 384-acre campus in Easton, Massachusetts. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 13:1, the College engages its 2,400+ students in 80+ rigorous academic programs in the liberal arts, sciences, and pre-professional fields.

Faithful to the Holy Cross tradition in education, Stonehill College is committed to developing the moral, spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social competencies of its students and seeks to build and sustain a campus community that embraces diversity and inclusion in its teaching, learning, living, and working. Stonehill values the diversity of persons, opinions, and cultural and religious perspectives. In fulfillment of its motto, Lux et Spes (“Light and Hope”), the College cultivates in its students the competence to think, act, and lead with courage towards creating a more just and compassionate world.

Stonehill College invites applications for the Director Accessibility Resources, a member of the College’s Student Success Collaborative (SSC), and reporting to the Executive Director for Student Success. This is a highly visible and critical role at the College, ensuring that student success is facilitated for all students registered with the Office of Accessibility Resources (OAR). We are especially interested in candidates who will contribute to a campus climate that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion. This is a full-time 12-month position.

The Director of Accessibly Resources works collaboratively with leadership in the SSC and with campus partners including faculty, staff, and administration to ensure that the College provides resources and services that meet the needs of diverse student learners. Promoting student success for all students is a top priority. This position will direct and implement academic, housing, and temporary accommodations for students, focusing on students under the mandates of Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, MA State laws, and Stonehill College policies.

Education & Experience

A Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Psychology, Higher Education Administration, or related field is required. A minimum of five years of experience in higher education working with students with learning and other disabilities is preferred. Demonstrated commitment and experience working with diverse populations in multicultural settings and demonstrated understanding of the College’s Catholic mission and identity and how Catholic traditions and values enhance the student experience is required.
