Job Description:

Would assist with GSB Department Chairs and Director(s), Faculty, and Staff as well as Academic Student Organizations.
General office duties including filing and completion of required documents for the College pertaining to the Graham School of Business including the accreditation documentations.
Graduate studies assistance with activities including: visiting local organizations to promote our programs, liaising with an organization contact once agreements are in place, serving as a point of contact for cohort students, compiling and sending acceptance packets for new graduate students, assigning academic advisors for new graduate students, attending graduate programming meetings, organizing graduate orientation sessions, serving as a conduit between graduate students and campus offices, and answering initial inquiries on our graduate programs.
This staff member will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of an internship program, overseeing and coordinating the program once it is up, assigning interns to various departments, and managing site supervisors. This individual also acts as the liaison between the company and the Graham School of Business.
Accreditation documentation: assist in the completion of scholarly and professional data required of all faculty, maintaining records for accreditation, assimilating information required into a variety of formats, and other duties as necessary or assigned by dean.


Requirements:

The successful candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant or general office experience in an academic or executive setting is necessary. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and friendly, with knowledge and skill with the Microsoft Office suite of programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and an appreciation of York College of Pennsylvania's values. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This position requires a candidate who is proactive and ambitious in seeking and completing projects and tasks. The ability to multitask and manage a variety of activities effectively are also needed for success in a busy work environment. The ability to prioritize and anticipate deadlines
