The Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) focuses on
addressing physician shortages in rural areas through the
recruitment and training of medical students who intend to practice
medicine in rural communities. WARM is currently seeking a program
manager who will oversee this growing program, working closely with
the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health
MD Admissions and Student Services Offices. The program manager is
instrumental in creating and implementing recruitment processes,
advising prospective applicants, and facilitating effective working
relationships with regional educational coordinators and community
faculty. Additional responsibilities include the development and
implementation of outreach programs, assisting with the development
of a career guidance process, and collaboration on undergraduate
and graduate medical education programming.
