Faculty Member – Basic Sciences (Anatomy) Job Summary

The National University of Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to provide instruction in the basic sciences using various teaching methods including lectures, laboratories, demonstrations, interactive computer-based exercises, small group discussions, and team-taught classroom activities, where appropriate in anatomy. The instructor will also introducing students to the learning standards employed within the College of Professional Studies to prepare students for professional practice as a Doctor of Chiropractic and/or Naturopathic Medicine. The successful candidate will also serve as a mentor and advisor to professional and graduate students in the professional programs. The instructor will also demonstrate professional recognition through selection for service to local, state, and national specialty organizations within their area of expertise.


Candidates must have a Ph.D., D.C., N.D., M.D., or applicable doctorate with an emphasis in a biological science and relevant post-doctoral experience.
