Job Summary

The National University of Health Sciences invites applicants for a 12 month tenure-track appointment.   The successful applicant will preferably have a Ph.D. in physiology or in a closely related discipline. A first professional medical doctorate will also be considered. This will be primarily a teaching position to cover instruction in cellular and organ systems physiology for students in the Doctor of Chiropractic and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine programs. We seek an individual who can integrate basic science concepts, especially in regulatory physiology, with functional relevance in the clinical setting. Excellent communicative and teaching skills are required. This position will also offer opportunities to participate in clinically oriented or educational research. Participation in student advising, along with administrative service to the University will also be required.

Education

Candidates must have a Ph.D., D.C., N.D., M.D., or applicable doctorate with an emphasis in a biological science and relevant post-doctoral experience.
