Job Summary

Teach one or more mathematics courses ranging from Fundamentals of Mathematics through Differential Equations and Business Statistics.

Required Qualifications

In order to teach non-transfer, developmental math classes at JCCC, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree with the full 3-semester calculus sequence plus two additional courses beyond the calculus sequence

In order to teach any math class at JCCC, the candidate must have a Master's degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or related field required with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours earned in mathematics intensive classes

Good oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated understanding of students at a community college

A minimum of two years teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching at the community college level
