Instructor of World Cultures (Two Positions Available) Position Number 997352, 999388 Department Security Studies and Criminal Justice Salary $43,175 Job Summary/Description The Department of Security Studies and Criminal Justice at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas seeks applicants for a non-tenure eligible Instructor of Culture and Security Studies. The successful candidate will be expected to teach five (5) sections of World Cultures, or as needed, upper-level culture classes (CUL) at the undergraduate level. Typical Duties/Job Duties The standard load will be to teach five (5) sections of World Cultures each semester or an upper-level course, as needed, in lieu of one World Cultures section.  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work collaboratively. Demonstrated ability to teach in Blackboard online classroom format at a regionally accredited institution. Background at the graduate level in courses that teach the nexus between culture and national security.  Minimum Qualifications MA/MS is required in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, History, or related field. Excellent written and oral English communications skills. Willingness to teach in an online environment.  Preferred Qualifications Past experience working collaboratively in a Blackboard online environment.  Physical Requirements   EEO Statement
