Job Summary

The position involves teaching the sequence of two quantitative method courses (i.e. BUS 381 and BUS 480) in the Elmhurst Management Program ( EMP ), which is an adult accelerated degree completion program. BUS 381 meets the first 8 weeks of the semester and BUS 480 meets the second 8 weeks of the semester. These courses are held once a week in the fall semester from 6:00 to 8:05 p.m.

BUS 381 focuses on statistics (with an emphasis on descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and linear regression) and BUS 480 focuses on optimization techniques (with an emphasis on linear programming). Both courses rely solely on the use of Microsoft Excel (i.e. functions, Analysis ToolPak, and Solver).
