As a member of the central management team for the department the Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life for Housing Services works collaboratively to support the strategic goals and Catholic mission of the University. This position is responsible for management of university housing occupancy including, room inventory, assignments, meal plans, billing and the accuracy of data between student housing files (housing software) and the university student information system (Banner). This position crafts and manages the marketing plan for the Housing Services including updates to web and social media, creating and modifying video and written publications for housing related items. This position works closely with the Dean of Students, Bursar, Disability Support Services (DSS), the Director of Student Services Information Systems, Enrollment Services, Card Access and Athletics as well as students and family members directly as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key responsibilities for this position are to housing database management and reporting, management of building front desk and office student staff selection, management of housing services (including but not limited to billing, marketing, managing housing & residence life email account), housing operations management (including but not limited to oversight of the housing application process and room occupancy data reports

Required Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree with 5-8 years of related experience in student personnel, business, information systems

Desired Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate may also have experience and knowledge of residence life on a college campus, and experience with housing software.
