TheApplication Coordinator progresses the application process for new students quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities include:
  • Process large numbers of applications quickly, efficiently, and accurately so the experience is as smooth as possible for students.
  • Process large volumes of transcripts and other application documents.
  • Initiate implementation of new procedures and processes for re-enrolling, first-year, transfer, second-degree, graduate and certificate students.
  • Scan and import records and enter data into a database with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Correspond with applicants promptly and efficiently, using a complex database mail merge.
  • Respond to applicant questions with a high sense of urgency.
  • Work both independently and as a part of a team to ensure applicants move forward in the process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership within the department and across the university to assess priorities and achieve objectives, building positive relationships of trust.
  • Support Admission Counselors regarding all application information.
  • Work with multiple University systems, entering data, creating and running reports, and ensuring accurate records.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Two years of professional experience using the Microsoft Office and Google suite of office software.
  • Data entry experience with exceptionally high accuracy.
  • Experience serving people from all different backgrounds, treating people with respect, dignity and compassion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or some college coursework successfully completed.
  • One year of experience working in an educational setting performing administrative support duties.
