Position: Assistant Professor in the field of Hydrology, Water
Resources, or closely related area.
Starting Date: August, 2022
1) An earned doctorate in Civil Engineering with a focus on
Hydrology, Water Resources, or closely related field, from an
accredited institution (or equivalent) is required. However,
applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be
considered. For appointment, the doctorate must be completed by the
date of appointment (8/18/2022).
2) Evidence of successful teaching or mentoring experience at the
undergraduate level or in laboratory settings.
3) Evidence of scholarly, peer-reviewed publications.
1) Demonstrated expertise and research/work experience in one or
more of the following areas:
- Water resources management
- Surface and groundwater interactions (e.g. contamination,
- Resilience and sustainability of urban water systems

ABET-accredited BS programs in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical
Engineering and Computer Science; an ATMAE-accredited BS program in
Industrial Technology; and BS degrees in Aviation Administration,
Fire Protection Administration and Technology, and Graphic
Communications. The College also offers MS degrees in Computer
Science, Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering, Materials
