The finance department at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota (Twin Cities campus), is seeking qualified applicants for a Senior Lecturer position starting in the Fall of 2022. The position is non-tenure track, nine month appointments, renewable annually subject to performance.

The responsibilities of these positions include: i) teaching 24 credits over the nine-month academic year, ii) participating in efforts to evaluate and improve the finance curriculum, and iii) advising students regarding course work and career interests.

Additional teaching with added compensation might be available for: i) summer teaching, ii) teaching in Carlson’s international MBA programs, and iii) teaching in Carlson’s Executive Education Center programs.

Teaching duties will consist of undergraduate and MBA finance courses, offered in both large lecture and smaller case discussion formats. Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel is required. The relevant courses are offered in Carlson’s day, evening and weekend degree programs in the Twin Cities.

A Master’s degree or a PhD degree is required. Preferred candidates are those with an MBA degree or a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and 15+ years of related industry and/or academic experience.
