Assistant College Professor of Marketing

The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at New Mexico State University (NMSU) is seeking qualified candidates to fill a 9-month, non-tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant College Professor level in Marketing beginning August, 2022.  Candidates are required to hold an MBA or a Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field and a broad knowledge of sales.  Candidates should have demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication, and competency to interact effectively.  The position carries a renewable contract contingent upon year-to-year funding.

 

Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load, advising students, and service to the department, college, university, and community.  Teaching will be in Marketing courses with an emphasis on sales-related courses, and possibly some introductory business-related courses.  The responsibilities of the position support the goals of the Department of Marketing focusing on the Professional Sales and Strategic Marketing concentrations.  Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in undergraduate education with experience teaching in Sales areas.
