Job Summary:

This position functions as a receptionist and cashier for clients and patients of the WISCARES veterinary clinic. This is a key position in which the incumbent must develop considerable knowledge of policy and procedures at WISCARES for smooth and efficient clinic operation. The incumbent must have well-developed skills in multi-tasking, organization, independent and creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. This position requires the ability to make independent judgments. A background in medical terminology is helpful, but not required. Requires excellent communication skills and customer service skills.

Front desk or reception experience preferred, but not required.

Additional Information:

- Ability to operate telephone, computer, and copy machine
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally carry objects up to 30 lbs.
