Job Summary: Provides academic instruction and student academic support for the Engineering/Technology department. Performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction including governance activities. Faculty in Electrical Technology program teach courses that cover basic electrical theory, residential and commercial wiring, safety, the National Electrical Code, and blueprint reading. Provides training to students seeking careers as general electricians, residential service technicians, and commercial service technicians.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in related field and 3 years industry experience OR Industry electrical certifications and 3 years industry experience.

Licensing Requirements: Please note that all teaching faculty are required to comply with PA Act 15. You will need to present completed clearances and training certificates at the time of hire. Hiring Range: $40,170 - $53,970

  • Participates in college and community service activities. - (Standard)
  • Participates in professional growth activities and maintains awareness of new trends and developments within areas of instructional responsibility. - (Standard)
  • Coordinate, plan, organize, and instruct academic courses according to approved course syllabus. - (Essential)

  • Keep students informed and updated concerning course content, requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance requirements. - (Essential)
  • Keep students informed about their progress through prompt grading of papers and other work. - (Essential)
