Washburn University's Department of Allied Health invites applications for a Coordinator of Clinical Education/Lecturer in radiologic technology (radiographer). This is a 12 month, non-tenure track position beginning June 1, 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography.
  • Two years of clinical experience.
  • Minimum of one year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program, either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical instructor of a radiologic technology student at one of the sites used for clinical education, is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
Responsibilities:
  • Teach assigned classes.
  • Correlate and coordinate clinical education with didactic education and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Support the program director to assure effective program operations.
  • Participate in accreditation and assessment processes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.
  • Stay abreast of program policies, procedures and student progress.
  • Advise/recruit students and be the program liaison with all clinical affiliates.
  • Will report to the Radiography Program Director and Department Chair of Allied Health.
