Baylor University announces two faculty openings for Lecturer in Collaborative Piano. Appointment date: August 2022. Responsibilities: Full-time positions providing collaborative pianist services for advanced students in the School of Music; one position will require expertise in instrumental collaboration; one position will require expertise in vocal collaboration; duties may include playing for individual rehearsals, lessons, studio classes, degree recitals, instrumental ensemble or opera rehearsals, juries, and other duties as needed; participate in the musical life of the School of Music. Qualifications: Exemplary keyboard performance and collaboration skills; master's degree (in hand required at time of appointment) or equivalent professional experience; doctorate in collaborative piano desirable; extensive pre-existing collaborative repertoire. Rank and Salary: Faculty rank of Lecturer (includes faculty benefit package); salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
