The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems at the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Accounting. The position will begin Fall 2022.

Qualifications required include the capacity to publish in top journals in accounting and/or related disciplines and a commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates are expected to hold a doctoral degree or to complete the degree by August 31, 2022. The Department provides excellent research support, including an attractive teaching load, a one-semester third-year research sabbatical, strong database resources, an active seminar and internal workshop series, and access to a high-performance computing cluster. Hiring decisions will be based on the candidate’s ability to contribute to the research and teaching missions of Lerner College of Business and Economics.

The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems offers Bachelors’ and Masters’ degrees in accounting and in management information systems along with several joint degrees, partnering with both the College of Engineering and the College's MBA programs.
