The Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Health & Human Sciences at IUPUI invites applications for a 10-month tenure-track faculty position beginning Fall 2022.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and academic credentials.  The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to teach and mentor both entry-level and post-professional OTD students, will be responsible for developing an active research agenda in their area of expertise, generate external funding, engage in online and classroom teaching, and provide school and university service. Demonstrated expertise in adult rehabilitation is strongly preferred. 
 
Job Duties: 
40% Teaching 
50% Research 
10% Service/Engagement    Basic Qualifications: • An earned doctorate in a field relevant to occupational therapy such as but not limited to rehabilitation science, public health, behavioral health, or health sciences. 
• Potential for success in research as demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications and grant funding. 
• Evolving program of research aligned with or complementary to the School of Health & Human Sciences. 
• Teaching experience in graduate education. 
• Hold or be eligible for occupational therapy licensure in the State of Indiana. 
• Current certification with National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) 
• Experience working as a licensed occupational therapist with the adult population in a rehabilitation and/or acute care setting.   Additional Preferred Qualifications: • Post-doctoral training 
• Interdisciplinary, team science approach to research 
• Experience in mentoring graduate students
