Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Registrar for Curriculum Maintenance, Degree Audit, and NCAA Compliance in the Office of the Registrar.

The candidate would be expected to: represent the Office of the Registrar on the Athletics Eligibility Team, for the purpose of providing an organized process for certifying continuing eligibility for each student-athlete; coordinate the program evaluation and degree audit process and serve as the representative on both the Undergraduate and Graduate Studies Committees (USC and GSC); create and maintain the academic program requirements; provide outreach to students and advisors regarding anticipated program completion and graduation procedures; routinely track degree progress, as completion nears; troubleshoot audit issues and direct students to appropriate resources; coordinate the graduation process for the Office of the Registrar (OR) and serve as the OR's representative on the Commencement committee.

Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence, Intermediate knowledge of MS Word 2013, Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 2013

Required Years of Experience: 5

Other Requirements:
Five years of experience with an integrated records system. Experience in the development and implementation of new products.

Ability to foster enthusiasm and commitment while collaborating as a team to meet the goals and deadlines of graduation and commencement. Good presentation skills, as well as strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to make decisions in a timely manner using proven problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative problem analysis. Ability to set priorities and identify areas of concerns. Ability to take responsibility of key organizational issues, showing good judgement and the ability to set time lines and meet deadlines.



Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience. Prefer Registrar office experience, with knowledge of programming and maintaining degree audit requirements.
