Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at the University of South Alabama (USA) invites applications for a full-time (9 month), tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 15, 2022. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely-related field, including at least 18 credit hours of graduate coursework in Chemistry. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to teach lecture and laboratory courses in Organic Chemistry and other courses based on the needs of the Department. Development of a vigorous, laboratory-based research program involving undergraduate students, with a goal of external support, is expected.
