The Department of Environmental Health Science in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia seeks a full-time Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer. The appointment is an academic year (9 month) appointment with the opportunity for additional instruction during the summer. This position is available beginning January 2022, but must begin no later than August 2022. Review of applications will begin December 1, 2021 and continue until the position is filled. Doctoral degree in a discipline related to environmental health, industrial hygiene/occupational safety, ecology, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, molecular toxicology/epidemiology, or other relevant field. Position Summary
Full time lecturer/ Senior Lecturer will teach multiple courses with total credit hours ranging from 18-24 per academic year for the Environmental Health Science Department. The successful candidate will have a reduced teaching load during the first year to develop courses. These courses are offered for students in the undergraduate BSEH Program, Graduate MS in EHS, and PhD in EHS as well as MPH and DrPH graduate students. In addition, the successful candidate will serve as the faculty advisor of the undergraduate EHS Club and have other opportunities to contribute to student programs in the department.
