Job Description:

The Salesforce Administrator (IT Analyst I) described herein is an entry-level role that, under general supervision of the Manager for the CRM Team within Enterprise Systems (ES), assesses and provides technical solutions to meet business users’ needs. The incumbent works with other CRM Team members to formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems. With this knowledge, he/she supports existing core business processes and develops or modifies moderately complex information systems. The incumbent communicates with all groups of people (clients, programmers, and management) and provides summary or detailed information, as appropriate, so that each group has the information required to make business decisions. He/she works with all team members within each phase of system development life cycle so that systems or solutions are delivered accurately and on time.

Expected Salary:

$50,000 – $55,000; commensurate based on education and experience. In addition, the University of Florida offers a very competitive benefits package. https://benefits.hr.ufl.edu/

Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Strong ability to explain complex issues and discuss the trade-offs of potential solutions in non-technical terms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in higher education ID environment
  • Salesforce certification(s) (Administrator, App Platform Builder, etc.)
  • Participation in each phase of full Salesforce.com life-cycle implementations
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or other marketing automation platforms
  • Proven success in progressive expertise in customer experience
  • Experience working with a variety of applications including project management
