The College offers undergraduate degrees including a traditional BSN, second degree accelerated BSN, and an online RN-BSN. We offer several MSN options including two advanced practice roles (family nurse practitioner and adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist) and two online options (nurse educator and nurse executive). The post-master’s DNP program has a focus in translation science.

The College of Nursing seeks applicants for the position of Director of Online Programs for a fiscal year (12-month) appointment starting January 1, 2022. The successful candidate will be appointed with a faculty rank commensurate with background and experience.

The Director of Online Program is a member of the College of Nursing leadership team and helps lead the college in its strategic initiatives to meet its mission and vision. The responsibilities include leading and managing the online RN-BSN program and providing operational management of the online MSN Nurse Executive and Nurse Educator concentrations, supervising undergraduate fulltime and part-time faculty, mentoring faculty in excellent online instruction and guiding changes in curricula to meet national standards, limited teaching in the online environment, collaborating with an external marketing and retention partner to encourage admission, enrollment and retention, managing day-to-day student issues, collecting, reporting and using program data for continuous improvement, accreditation and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills and knowledge of curricular assessment and development.

The position requires an earned research doctorate in nursing or a related field (master’s degree in nursing required if doctoral degree is in another field) or a clinical doctorate in nursing.
