The Department of Chemistry at Hanover College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Professor of Chemistry to begin in either January 2022 or August 2022. Teaching responsibilities include two sections of Introduction to Chemistry I in the fall semester and two sections of Introduction to Chemistry II in the winter semester. All sections also include corresponding labs. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching intro-level chemistry students and will excite and interest them in the classroom and the lab. Additionally, the candidate is expected to create an inclusive classroom that can engage the interests of an increasingly diverse student population.  Minimum qualification is a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field.  ABD considered but degree must be earned prior to start date.
