The Romain College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting beginning August 2022. Candidates must have a doctorate in Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution. Applicants with ABD status will be considered for the rank of Instructor until degree is completed.
The primary area of teaching will be financial accounting with a secondary interest in audit or data analytics. The successful candidate will be expected to teach primarily in the undergraduate program but will also support the MBA program as needed. Responsibilities include innovative teaching in areas consistent with the Romain College of Business needs, active scholarship, and service at the program, university, and community levels. USI Faculty members are expected to have a strong desire for community engagement via continuous interaction with the local area businesses and organizations.
