Job Summary:

The Program Coordinator is an integral member of the leadership team that directs the Bradley Learning Community (BLC, https://www.housing.wisc.edu/residence-halls/learning-communities/bradley/ ). This position reports to the BLC Faculty Director and leads the day-to-day implementation of the residential learning community focused on assisting students in their college transition. The Program Coordinator spearheads collaboration and communication for the team of 30+ faculty, peer mentors, student employees, and Residence Life staff to provide a seamless curricular and co-curricular program that enhances the mission of BLC. The Program Coordinator manages all aspects of the annual lifecycle of BLC including prospective student recruitment, student staff hiring and training, program implementation, strategic planning and assessment.

Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of the needs of first-year students in the transition to college
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of engaged stakeholders and partners
- Strong organizational, strategic planning, and implementation skills required
- Previous experience working in an educational setting with college or high school students
- Previous experience working with college faculty preferred
- Previous experience with budget management preferred
- Previous experience supervising student employees preferred

BLC is a partnership between the College of Letters & Science and the Division of University Housing. The successful candidate will embrace the opportunity to work across multiple campus offices.
