Carthage College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor rank in NEUROSCIENCE to begin August 2022. We seek a colleague with broad research interests who can bring new expertise to the department. Applicants should expect to teach introductory neuroscience courses and advanced courses in their area of expertise with labs within the major, as well as contribute to staffing experimental design and senior thesis courses. The successful applicant will be expected to establish a research program that provides high-value research experience to Carthage undergraduates. Exceptional applicants across all neuroscience disciplines will be considered. However, individuals with expertise in microscopy and using rodent model systems are of particular interest. The ability and motivation to collaborate with other faculty members will be highly valued.
