Primary Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and/or information systems
- Participate in course and curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation
- Advise students and provide service to the department, college, and university
- For the Assistant/Associate Professor position: Establish a productive research program involving undergraduate and graduate students
Required Qualifications
- For the Assistant/Associate Professor position: Ph.D. or ABD (with Ph.D. by August 1, 2022) in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, computer information systems, or a closely related discipline (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government-certified university.)
- For the Instructor position: Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, computer information systems, or a closely related discipline (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government-certified university.)
- Potential for teaching excellence
- For the Assistant/Associate Professor position: Potential to conduct high quality research
- Potential for providing effective service to the department, college, and university
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the University community
- Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
