Notre Dame of Maryland University's School of Education is growing
and expanding due to program offerings and recognition as the
second largest educator of teachers in the State. The School offers
both State and NCATE accredited programs ranging from baccalaureate
through the doctoral level.
The School of Education is accepting applications for a full-time,
tenure-track Assistant Professor with a generalist preparation in
history, philosophy and pedagogy; experience in digital and
technology integration; and documented scholarship to begin on
January 3, 2022. A successful candidate will have demonstrated
ability to teach diverse offerings and populations, with an
emphasis on graduate and doctoral level instruction. The faculty
member should be available for courses taught on and off campus, as
well as day, evening and online classes. This position carries a
7-unit teaching load and expectations for scholarship and service
consistent with the rank of Assistant Professor. Teaching,

teaching experience, a publication history appropriate for the rank
of Assistant Professor, and experience with online education.
