Job Description:
The Student Accessibility Services Testing Accommodations Coordinator will oversee and manage all operations of Testing Services. Duties include:
- Supervising Testing Specialists
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the Testing Center
- Ensuring all student records are up-to-date
- Ensuring all technology works properly
- Problem solving with students and faculty to resolve testing issues
- Proctoring, reading, and scribing for students as needed
- Managing the data used by the Student Accessibility services office
Requirements:
Candidates must have:
- A bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of experience in a position with a comparable level of responsibility, preferably in a higher education setting
Strong candidates will be able to effectively supervise others and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
Candidates must be able to:
- Establish and maintain rapport with students, faculty and staff
- Anticipate and resolve issues and conflicts
- Offer constructive feedback
- Continuously learn how to use existing and emerging assistive technology
- Analyze data and prepare summative reports
Other requirements include:
- Excellent organizational and detailed record-keeping skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A high degree of integrity
- Technical skills, including fluent use of Word, Excel, Google applications, and other database management software used in the Student Accessibility Services office
