Job Summary:

Marist College invites applications for the position of Ticketing & Marketing Assistant. This part-time opportunity works under the direction of the Assistant Athletics Director, External Affairs to oversee all ticket operations for the varsity programs, specifically football, men’s and women’s basketball, conference championships and other special events.

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field is required.

Essential Functions:
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all varsity athletic ticket sales
  • Assist with the marketing and communications efforts with a focus towards season, group, individual, and other ticket sales through various mediums
  • Create and implement innovative sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to all season ticket holders, plan holders, single-game buyers, new business prospects, group leaders and fans
  • Maintain an updated electronic database of ticket purchaser and group leaders and prospects
  • Ensure that all ticket activities are conducted within the polices of the College, conference and NCAA
  • Assist with the annual NCAA Agreed Upon Procedures ticket audit
  • Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in collegiate athletics is preferred.
