We are looking for Simulated Participants (SP), to become trained persons to help in our simulation lab. As a SP you will work directly under the supervision of the Simulation Lab Coordinator. Duties/Responsibilities
As an SP you will be highly trained to portray all the characteristics of a real patient, a patient’s loved one, or a member of the care team; in realistic and repeatable ways. You will interact with learners in experiential education to provide an opportunity for students to learn and be evaluated.
Simulated Participants provide valuable opportunities for learners to practice skills in a safe environment that is both safe and supportive to the learning process. You must take the role seriously as you are impacting patient care through education.
Under the direction of faculty and staff, you may provide feedback directly to students regarding specific aspects of the simulated scenario. Required Qualifications

• High School diploma/ GED or equivalent
• General computer skills
• Previous experience in a fast paced work environment where you are comfortable receiving and integrating directions/orders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an SP, theater, and/or healthcare
