The College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University (ISU) in Ames, Iowa is seeking applications for a full-time, term faculty appointment of Research Assistant Professor in the area of Epidemiology. This position will hold academic rank in the department of Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine (VDPAM), and work collaboratively with the ISU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL).

This position will commit approximately 80% effort to research, 10% to provision of epidemiological services to stakeholders of the ISU VDL, and 10% effort to teaching. Research areas of focus will include epidemiology and advancing the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic information management tools to aid in the monitoring and control of infectious diseases of food animals.
