Husson University's College of Science and Humanities invites
applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor and
Coordinator of Pre-Medicine to begin in fall 2021. Candidates for
this position are expected to have experience teaching introductory
and upper-level courses in anatomy & physiology, nutrition,
pathophysiology, immunology, or virology - depending upon the area
of specialization. The successful candidate will also demonstrate
past leadership ability essential for this position to provide
guidance for a rapidly growing Pre-Medicine program. This program
gives students the necessary preparation for successful entry to
the medical professions, including osteopathic medicine.
The Pre-Medicine program complements existing programs within the College of Science and Humanities, which also offers undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science and Biology, as well as baccalaureate programs for Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy professional degrees offered through the College of Health and Pharmacy.
Husson University is a private institution of approximately 3500 undergraduate and graduate students located in Bangor, Maine.
